DD Imports COO, Vern Raincock, was an advocate for the fledgling Calgary Beer Festival in 2005. Since the opening of Olds College Brewery in 2012, Vern volunteers annually on the Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management Industry Advisory Committee & has been a guest lecturer . In 2009, DD Imports with help from Calgary Flames Alumni and local volunteers in Montana founded the Craft Brewers Hockey League. It has grown from 4 teams over 1 day to a 3-day event in 2018.Vern RaincockCOO
